Here is a little collection of our most frequently asked questions - hopefully this will cover any you might have but we always love a chat so do get in touch if there's anything else we can help with.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?
If you're order is placed before 3pm it will be sent out within 1-3 working days. Please note this excludes personalised items, clothing or if the item(s) is pre-order.
For orders containing personalised prints or clothing please allow 4-7 working days from ordering to despatch (often quicker but I say this to help manage expectations for time sensitive gifts). Please note that during busy times such as Christmas there may be a slight delay in processing time but also with the post itself so best to order in plenty of time!
Once your order has been despatched you will receive an email notification - please check your spam as that's often where this ends up.
HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SENT?
Orders sent within the UK are sent via Royal Mail First Class. this *should* take 1-2 working days after notification of despatch, however once your order is in the post the timing is out of our control and we have no means to track standard delivery. I've been very lucky with my mail so far and had very few delays outside of Christmas, however the period between October-December is notoriously hectic with some orders taking 1-2 weeks to arrive so best to allow plenty of time.
Please allow an additional 4 working days after your expected delivery date before contacting us if your order hasn't arrived. For Europe, 10 working days and Rest of World 16 working days.
If your order is time sensitive I would strongly advise using the Special Delivery service. This is a Next Day by 1pm service from the point of despatch. Normal processing times apply prior to despatch. If your order is super urgent please do get in tough before - I will always do what I can to whizz something through! DUTY & CUSTOMS
Fearless Flamingo is a UK based business. If you live in a country where duty is payable on goods sent from the UK these fees are the responsibility of the purchaser and not included in the cost of the item.
ORDERS OF PRE-ORDER ITEMS
Occasionally we have certain items on pre-order. We endeavour to make sure shipping dates are shown clearly and if you have any questions please do get in touch. Please note that all items in your order will be shipped together - if your order contains other non pre-order items these will be sent together with the pre-order item as and when it becomes available. If you'd like these non pre-order items sent separately please place two orders (if your order is already in and you need the non pre-order items before do get in touch and we can set up an additional payment for the postage).
It very rarely happens thankfully but if you'd like to return an item please do so within 28 days of it being despatched. This is for non-personalised items only and they must be unused/unworn and in a sellable condition (to protect the contents we recommend using the original packaging assuming it's in tact).
If a refund is due it will be processed within 7 working days of receipt of the item. As we are a small business it will be your responsibility to pay the return cost of the postage. As you are the sender of the item, if it gets lost in the post you will need to contact your shipping service to claim compensation for loss (as such we recommend obtaining proof of postage and sending your item via a tracked service). As such we recommend obtaining proof of postage and sending your item via a tracked service. If you cannot provide proof of delivery for a return I'm afraid we cannot then reasonably refund you for the goods that you have sent to us.
Sale items, those found in the Outlet & Seconds collection or personalised items are non-returnable.
If you would like to exchange your item for a different size please follow the returns policy steps above for returning the item - it must be un-used/unworn and in a sellable condition. Your exchange item will be sent out within the processing times outlined above. Please note exchanges are only available for the same type of item (i.e. a print for a print but not a print for a t-shirt).
If there is a price difference between the exchang items (i.e. returning an A4 print for a larger print) you will be invoiced (and payment required) prior to despatch of the exchange item, and if you are due a refund (i.e. returning a large print for a smaller one) this will be processed on receipt of the return item.
Sale items, those found in the Outlet & Seconds collection or personalised items are non-exchangable.

We pride ourselves on getting it right first time but occasionally we slip up - if this has happened to you, firstly, huge apologies, secondly please get in touch with us at email@example.com and we will arrange for the correct items to be whizzed over to you along with the return of the other items.
If you're sending an order as a gift that is going direct to the recipient don't forget to include a gift message in the comments box at the checkout. This will be hand written on a note included in your order. Please note no prices will be included in the order.
If you'd like to gift wrap your order you can choose this as an add-on at the checkout and it will be wrapped in our signature flamingo gift wrap. If you include a gift message at the checkout we will include this on the gift tag.
We have detailed washing and care instructions for our t-shirts and sweatshirts in the product description. We recommend the following; washing at 30c and drying naturally. Do not tumble dry, iron inside out to protect the quality of the print. Please refer to the size guides and product descriptions for product fit.
We do our best to use sustainably used materials in everything we produce and send on, from our wooden decorations that are printed on sustainably sourced birch wood to our compostable cello bags for prints and cards.
